Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the full lifecycle of controls projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, accurately understanding their requirements and ensuring projects meet their expectations.
- Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, creating a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget, applying rigorous cost control and financial management practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues to avoid impacts on project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all project details are accurately recorded and stored.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the building automation or controls industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Project management certifications such as PMP are highly regarded.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, lighting controls, and security system integration.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to direct and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and effectively negotiating with vendors and subcontractors.
- Financial management proficiency, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Based in Omaha, NE, or willing to relocate, with a consistent and proven track record in the industry.
