Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Controls Sales/Account Executive to join our team in Bellingham, WA. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial building automation controls with expertise in systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, and Distech. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including installation, service, start-up, commissioning, point-to-point, programming, estimating, sales, design and engineering, and project or account management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their building automation needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, including design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Conduct point-to-point checks, programming, and ensure systems meet specified requirements.
  • Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals, considering client specifications and budget constraints.
  • Actively participate in sales and marketing activities to promote building automation services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements in building automation controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various control systems, including Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building automation controls.
  • Knowledge and experience with systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
  • N4 Certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in installation, service, start-up, commissioning, point-to-point, programming, estimating, sales, design and engineering, and project or account management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Stable work history with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
