Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Controls Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a local professional with a stable work history and have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial building automation controls. Proficiency in systems such as Alerton, ALC (Automated Logic Corporation), Tridium Niagara, and Distech is highly preferred. The candidate should possess N4 Certification and have expertise in the installation, service, start-up, and commissioning of controls systems. Knowledge in point-to-point, programming, estimating, sales, design and engineering, as well as project and account management, is crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Controls System Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience in commercial building automation controls.
- System Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in controls systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, Distech, and others.
- N4 Certification: Possess N4 Certification or equivalent in building automation controls.
- Installation and Commissioning: Oversee and actively participate in the installation, service, start-up, and commissioning of controls systems.
- Point-to-Point: Perform point-to-point verification to ensure the accurate functioning of controls systems.
- Programming: Develop and implement controls system programming based on project requirements.
- Estimating and Sales Support: Provide support in estimating and sales activities related to controls projects.
- Design and Engineering: Contribute to the design and engineering phases of controls projects.
- Project Management: Manage controls projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Account Management: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing excellent service and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial building automation controls.
- Proficiency in controls systems such as Alerton, ALC, Tridium Niagara, Distech, etc.
- N4 Certification or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in installation, service, start-up, and commissioning of controls systems.
- Point-to-point verification skills.
- Strong programming capabilities for controls systems.
- Experience in estimating, sales, design and engineering, and project or account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
