Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Controls Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in building automation controls, demonstrating a solid track record of excellent technical ability and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing, servicing, repairing, and commissioning building automation control systems.
2. Conducting point-to-point testing to ensure the efficiency and functionality of all systems.
3. Programming control systems to meet customer needs and facility requirements.
4. Providing accurate estimates for potential projects.
5. Actively participating in sales efforts, including developing and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
6. Managing projects from inception to completion, including coordinating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a successful delivery.
7. Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve service offerings.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building automation controls is required.
2. Proven experience in the installation, service, repair, start-up, and commissioning of building automation control systems.
3. Strong knowledge of point-to-point testing and programming.
4. Experience in providing estimates for control system projects.
5. Proven sales abilities with a track record of generating new business.
6. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in sales and project management is highly desirable.
