Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Design Architect to join our collaborative design/build team, focusing on a wide range of challenging and diverse commercial and industrial projects. This position offers the chance to engage in the full lifecycle of project delivery, utilizing the latest in design and 3D technologies, including Revit and Navisworks. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage assigned design phases of projects, ensuring alignment with all codes, regulations, and client objectives.
- Utilize CAD/REVIT for detailed construction documentation and efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate effectively across multiple projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
- Participate in the preparation of Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract designs and development of Request for Proposals (RFP).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Architectural License, with experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficient in design software, including Revit and ACAD, with a strong foundation in construction documentation and design principles.
- Minimum of five years' experience in architectural design, with exposure to commercial and industrial project types.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing concept/schematic designs and project programming.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and software tools such as Sketchup, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Interest or certification in sustainability practices, such as LEED.
