Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the engineering department, ensuring the highest standards of design and execution.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of design engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
- Engage in advanced design-build commercial projects, ensuring optimal designs that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Leverage proficiency in Revit for efficient and cutting-edge design solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and inter-departmental teams to meet project goals within set timelines and budgets.
- Offer expertise across various projects, including hospitals, stadiums, and major commercial infrastructures.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory norms, codes, and standards.
- Drive continuous learning and development initiatives within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Residency in or around San Jose, CA.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial engineering sector.
- Demonstrated ability in overseeing and executing advanced design-build commercial projects.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of design engineers.
- Mastery in using Revit.
- Diverse project experience, particularly in designing and overseeing the construction of hospitals, stadiums, and other major commercial structures.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
