Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide the engineering department, ensuring the highest standards of design and execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of design engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
  • Engage in advanced design-build commercial projects, ensuring optimal designs that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Leverage proficiency in Revit for efficient and cutting-edge design solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and inter-departmental teams to meet project goals within set timelines and budgets.
  • Offer expertise across various projects, including hospitals, stadiums, and major commercial infrastructures.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory norms, codes, and standards.
  • Drive continuous learning and development initiatives within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Residency in or around San Jose, CA.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated ability in overseeing and executing advanced design-build commercial projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of design engineers.
  • Mastery in using Revit.
  • Diverse project experience, particularly in designing and overseeing the construction of hospitals, stadiums, and other major commercial structures.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
