Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in general construction and facilities engineering, with expertise in managing and overseeing construction projects for various facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Construction Project Oversight: Manage and oversee general construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Facilities Engineering: Apply engineering principles to assess, plan, and implement construction projects for a range of facilities.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure construction projects meet quality standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures when possible.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying and addressing potential delays proactively.
  • Construction Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of construction projects, including plans, permits, and project reports.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all construction personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Local Residency: Based in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in general construction and facilities engineering.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management, construction methods, and facilities engineering.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
