Job Title: Fire Safety Systems Technician
Overview: We are on the lookout for skilled Fire Safety Systems Technicians to join our team, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical work, a keen eye for problem-solving, and strong communication skills. This role involves working with advanced fire safety equipment, providing essential services to ensure the safety and compliance of various premises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly checks.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Program and commission new and existing fire alarm and other low voltage systems.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA-72, 70, 101, and other relevant codes and standards.
- At least 2 years of experience in fire alarm system servicing.
- Ability to perform physical tasks.
- NICET certification in fire alarm systems is highly desirable.
