Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout HVAC systems for commercial projects.
- Develop and optimize HVAC system schematics, ensuring energy efficiency and adherence to local building codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful integration and execution of HVAC designs.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to produce detailed drawings and schematics.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technology and integrate them into our design solutions.
- Review, refine, and validate HVAC designs, ensuring they meet all requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with the installation team to provide support during the execution phase.
Qualifications:
- Must be local to Spokane, WA.
- A stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC design.
- Proficiency with design software tools, especially AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of local building codes and HVAC design standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
