We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Orange County, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and engineering HVAC systems for large commercial projects. We are looking for a local candidate with a stable work history, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), and a minimum of 3 years of HVAC design and engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Revit and experience in large commercial projects are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Design and engineer HVAC systems for large commercial projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and provide innovative solutions to meet project goals.
Utilize advanced Revit knowledge to create detailed and accurate HVAC system drawings and models.
Work closely with architects, other engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate HVAC design with overall project requirements.
Perform calculations, analysis, and simulations to optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and regulations related to HVAC design and engineering.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues and ensuring project success.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design and engineering.
