Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Orange County, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and engineering HVAC systems for large commercial projects. We are looking for a local candidate with a stable work history, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), and a minimum of 3 years of HVAC design and engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Revit and experience in large commercial projects are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer HVAC systems for large commercial projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and provide innovative solutions to meet project goals.
- Utilize advanced Revit knowledge to create detailed and accurate HVAC system drawings and models.
- Work closely with architects, other engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate HVAC design with overall project requirements.
- Perform calculations, analysis, and simulations to optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and regulations related to HVAC design and engineering.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues and ensuring project success.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
Qualifications:
