Overview:
We are seeking skilled HVAC Ductwork Specialists to join our team, focusing on the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution systems, and associated HVAC equipment for a variety of commercial construction projects. This role is essential for ensuring all installations are executed to the highest standards, in full compliance with industry codes and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install HVAC ductwork and air distribution systems according to project plans and specifications.
- Work collaboratively on active construction sites, applying mechanical principles to ensure efficient and effective installation of HVAC systems.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, with a preference for additional courses in HVAC Technologies or Construction Management.
- A minimum of four years of experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker, ideally within the commercial, industrial, or facilities operations sectors.
- Proven ability to work on government, military, or large-scale commercial construction projects is highly regarded.
Preferred:
- Computer literacy and familiarity with industry-standard software.
- Current certifications in CPR/First Aid & OSHA-30; willingness to undergo training for EM-385 & STS certifications.
