We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Estimation Specialist to enhance our Pre-Construction Team's capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in planning and executing precise project estimates, ensuring the alignment with our strategic objectives in the commercial construction sector.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough and accurate project estimates, integrating our core values and business objectives.
Identify potential issues and opportunities early in the process, proposing solutions to ensure comprehensive and quality estimates.
Work closely with project teams to deliver consistent project turnover packages and operational budgets.
Create detailed estimates, including materials, equipment, and labor requirements, based on project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Support project-specific sales strategies through value engineering options and involvement in pre-contract bid reviews.
Foster and maintain relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
Develop and sustain strong relationships with client estimating staff, ensuring timely responses and identifying additional sales opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate estimate files and project documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in HVAC estimation within the commercial construction industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create detailed and accurate estimates.
