We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Estimation Specialist to enhance our Pre-Construction Team's capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in planning and executing precise project estimates, ensuring the alignment with our strategic objectives in the commercial construction sector.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and accurate project estimates, integrating our core values and business objectives.
- Identify potential issues and opportunities early in the process, proposing solutions to ensure comprehensive and quality estimates.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver consistent project turnover packages and operational budgets.
- Create detailed estimates, including materials, equipment, and labor requirements, based on project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Support project-specific sales strategies through value engineering options and involvement in pre-contract bid reviews.
- Foster and maintain relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with client estimating staff, ensuring timely responses and identifying additional sales opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate estimate files and project documentation.
