Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate should be a local professional with a stable work history, possessing a minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC estimating experience. Proficiency in using Trimble AutoBid, coupled with a background in large commercial projects, is essential. Familiarity with Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Project Estimation: Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate costs for commercial HVAC projects, ensuring competitive and precise bids.
- Trimble AutoBid: Navigate and effectively use Trimble AutoBid software to streamline the estimation process.
- Project Specifications: Review and interpret project specifications to create detailed and comprehensive estimates.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth cost analysis, including labor, materials, subcontractor quotes, and other related expenses.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all estimates align with Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Bid Presentations: Prepare and present bid proposals to clients, highlighting the competitive edge of our estimates.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, cost factors, and new technologies to enhance estimating accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating.
- Familiarity with Trimble AutoBid software is essential.
- Previous experience with large commercial projects.
- Knowledge of Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements is a plus.
