Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Estimator in Merced, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and a minimum of two years of commercial HVAC estimating experience. Preference is given to local candidates, but relocation options are available for the right individual. Experience with commercial projects in sectors such as schools, hospitals, airports, and high-rises is essential.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Accurately estimate costs for HVAC projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered.
  • Bid Management: Revise bid packages, prepare addendums, and follow up on bid closings with clients.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with design, application support, purchasing, and job coordination teams to ensure project success.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor and track actual costs against the estimate to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Client Interaction: Establish and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
  • Project Expertise: Proven experience with commercial projects in schools, hospitals, airports, and high-rises.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating and project management tools and software, including Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks).
  • Local and Stable Work History: Candidates must have a stable work history and preferably be local to Merced, CA. However, relocation may be considered for exceptional candidates.
