Job Description:

We are a leading HVAC contractor in Orange County, CA, seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial HVAC Foreman/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all areas of commercial HVAC installation, have a proven track record in this industry, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervising and participating in installing large commercial RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
  2. Overseeing and guiding the work of the HVAC installation team.
  3. Collaborating closely with project management for resource allocation and planning.
  4. Ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards and are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  6. Training and mentoring less experienced team members.
  7. Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, contractors, and team members.
  8. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the installation process.
  9. Performing start-up and commissioning of HVAC systems.
  10. Ensuring all company and project procedures/policies are followed, including safety procedures.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 8 years of commercial HVAC installation experience is required.
  2. Must possess excellent knowledge and expertise in installing and starting large commercial RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
  3. Must have a stable work history in the HVAC industry within the local area.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team.
  5. Excellent understanding of commercial HVAC systems, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
  8. EPA Certification preferred.
  9. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  10. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
