HVAC Project Manager (Commercial Service & Construction)

Overview
Work within the project management division of a full-service self-performing HVAC service and construction company with an excellent reputation. Typical responsibilities include estimating (take-off & analysis), scheduling material deliveries and workforce, submitting RFIs (Requests for Information), preparing submittal packages, among other tasks.
Responsibilities
Oversee multiple aspects of commercial HVAC in commercial buildings, including high rises, schools, airports, medical, labs, data centers, pharmaceutical, stadiums, among others.
Projects are quick turn-around, and values typically range from 50k to 500k.
Balance time between the office and multiple job site(s) as needed, and attend meetings (kick-off, preconstruction, coordination, BIM, QC, safety, planning, commissioning, etc.) from project inception to completion.
Work with internal (management, estimating, preconstruction, fabrication, design, detailing, installation, safety, QC, legal, purchasing) stakeholders and external (general contractors, building owners, other subcontractors [such as controls and insulation]), suppliers, distributors, and other business partners/vendors.
Assist with surveying, planning and design, value engineering, purchasing, fabrication, equipment and material deliveries, equipment buyouts, coordination with Field Foreman and Superintendents, prepare conceptual and detailed bid documents, cost estimates, scheduling (Gantt charts and project timelines), submitting change orders and RFIs, review additional construction documents, forecasting, document control, POs, track labor and materials, budgeting (creating, managing, and maintaining), and close-out documentation tasks.
Requirements
Four or more years of experience in construction, mechanical contracting, project engineering, estimating, or engineering HVAC systems.
Knowledge in commercial HVAC systems, verbal and written communication, always be on time, and a reliable team member.
Familiar with federal, state, and local building and OSHA safety requirements.
Local and stable work history.
Nice to Have
Prior hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience.
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management
HVAC, EIT, or PE Licenses.
LEED AP Certification
Construction software experience: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, Glue, MS Project, BlueBeam, Primavera, Timberline, Procore, Prolog, Quickpen, Trimble Autobid, among other similar applications.
Familiarity with construction accounting.
