Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Sales Representative to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This individual will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by providing technical sales expertise for our commercial HVAC solutions. The role involves project estimation, sales presentations, contract negotiation, and project management. A successful candidate will possess a solid work history in the commercial HVAC sector, showcasing stability and commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients, establishing a consistent pipeline of business opportunities for HVAC projects
- Prepare, deliver and follow-up on product presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Develop and manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
- Perform accurate project estimation and proposal development
- Execute project management responsibilities, coordinating with all involved parties to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion of projects
- Collaborate with the service and installation teams, providing insights from a sales perspective and understanding their challenges
- Continually update product knowledge and stay abreast of latest HVAC technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- Proven track record in commercial HVAC sales, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in project estimation and management, preferably within the commercial HVAC industry
- Hands-on installation and service experience with large commercial mechanical equipment, including RTUs, chillers, boilers etc.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and commercial mechanical equipment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be local to the Sacramento, CA area
Preferred:
- HVAC related certifications
- Previous experience working directly in commercial HVAC installation or service role
