Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary:
We seek a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in HVAC services for commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems. This position is vital to our continued growth and will play a central role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our commercial clients in the San Francisco area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Install new commercial HVAC systems, ensuring proper commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC equipment and controls.
- Work with Building Automation System (BAS) controls to optimize system performance.
- Service and maintain chiller systems, ensuring efficient operation.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding optimal HVAC solutions.
- Document service and installation actions by completing necessary paperwork, logs, and records.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following best practices and adhering to safety standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- Preferred experience in HVAC start-up and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of BAS controls.
- Chiller system experience is a significant advantage.
- EPA certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be local to the San Francisco, CA area.
- Stable work history demonstrating commitment and professional growth.
