Job Title: HVAC Sheet Metal Supervisor

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead our skilled team of Sheet Metal Technicians. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of top-notch quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a commitment to excellence and a track record of success in the commercial mechanical construction industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Directly oversee a team of Sheet Metal Technicians, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate closely with project management to align team efforts with company goals and client needs.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews, material takeoffs, and planning in collaboration with the project team.
  • Implement and enforce strict compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with contractors, engineers, and clients as necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of weekly reports, including safety/tool box reports and project progress updates.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within the HVAC sheet metal industry, with a strong preference for candidates with a journeyman license or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and preparing material lists.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve team efficiency while maintaining a high standard of safety.
  • Knowledgeable in resolving technical issues to prevent potential problems.
  • Must be self-motivated, punctual, and capable of multitasking with outstanding follow-up abilities.
  • Local and stable work history in the commercial mechanical construction or related industry.

Preferred:
  • Experience with welding and both residential/commercial air conditioning and heating systems is advantageous.
  • Formal education in a related field, such as a trade school degree, high school diploma, or GED.
  • A valid driver's license.
