Job Description:

The Assistant HVAC/BAS Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of HVAC and Building Automation System projects for commercial buildings. This role involves a significant amount of estimating and project management tasks, with the successful candidate leveraging their technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in managing all aspects of HVAC and BAS projects, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.

  2. Help develop accurate and competitive project estimates.

  3. Coordinate and communicate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.

  4. Monitor project progress, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

  5. Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

  6. Assist in preparing reports to update relevant stakeholders on the project progress.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field.

  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems estimating and project management.

  3. Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, procedures, and safety measures.

  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

  6. Must have a stable work history and be local to the Seattle, WA area.
