Job Summary:
Our San Francisco, CA-based construction team is actively seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Assistant Project Manager with a solid foundation in commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management, complemented by at least 3 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design, estimating, and project management. Proficiency in construction management software such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is essential. Experience with large-scale commercial projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Participate in the design phase, providing insights to ensure the optimal implementation of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Contribute to the estimation process to ensure accurate project costing.
- Utilize construction management software (BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore) for effective project tracking and documentation.
- Ensure that projects meet all timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Implement quality assurance and safety protocols to maintain high standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Generate detailed project reports and updates for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
- Skilled in using BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing large commercial projects is preferred.
- Local to San Francisco, CA, with a stable work history.
Preferred:
- Project management certification or related credentials.
- Familiarity with current HVAC and plumbing codes and regulations.
