Job Summary:

Our team in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Assistant Project Manager with a strong foundation in commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management, complemented by at least 3 years of experience in the field. Expertise in construction management software such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is essential, and experience with large-scale commercial projects is highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the oversight of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Participate in the design phase, offering valuable insights to ensure efficient and effective HVAC and plumbing system implementation.
  • Support the project estimation process to provide accurate cost assessments and project planning.
  • Employ project management software tools (BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore) for streamlined project tracking and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain adherence to project specifications, including timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients, team members, and subcontractors.
  • Uphold and enforce quality assurance and safety standards throughout all project phases.
  • Generate and distribute comprehensive project status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
  • Proficiency in BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with managing large-scale commercial projects is preferred.
  • Local to San Francisco, CA, with a stable work history.

Preferred:
  • Certification in project management or related field.
  • Deep understanding of current HVAC and plumbing codes and standards.
