Position Summary:
We seek a dedicated and experienced HVAC/Plumbing Healthcare Project Manager to lead our healthcare projects in San Diego. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of healthcare construction's unique demands and regulations, especially in the realm of HVAC and plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all HVAC and plumbing healthcare project stages from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly OSPHD and HCAI requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success, including contractors, engineers, architects, and healthcare administrators.
- Review, understand, and manage medical gas systems installations and modifications.
- Develop and manage budget schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Foster a safety-first environment by implementing and overseeing safety protocols on job sites.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and act as clients' primary point of contact.
- Regularly report on project status, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
- Continuously stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of commercial HVAC/plumbing project management experience, with a significant focus on healthcare projects.
- Proven track record of managing large healthcare projects.
- Familiarity with medical gas systems.
- Deep understanding of OSPHD and HCAI requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be local to San Diego, CA or willing to relocate.
- Demonstrated stable work history.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
