Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman – Riverside, CA

Position Overview: The HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman will lead and manage the on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks at commercial job sites. This role requires thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Oversight:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the HVAC and sheet metal installation crew.
- Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Hands-on Work:

- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and equipment.
- Ensure that HVAC systems are installed and functioning correctly.
- Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and that work is completed safely.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Training and Mentoring:

- Train and mentor junior technicians and workers.
- Ensure the team knows the latest HVAC and sheet metal techniques and technologies.
- Quality Assurance:

- Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
- Ensure high-quality standards in all work performed.
- Communication:

- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Report on work progress and any potential issues or delays.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in HVAC and sheet metal work.
- 5 Years of experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal projects.
- Familiarity with Riverside, CA, building codes and regulations.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
