Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman – Riverside, CA

Location: Riverside, CA

Position Overview: The HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman will lead and manage the on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks at commercial job sites. This role requires thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and Oversight:
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the HVAC and sheet metal installation crew.
    • Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  1. Hands-on Work:
    • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and equipment.
    • Ensure that HVAC systems are installed and functioning correctly.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and that work is completed safely.
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  1. Training and Mentoring:
    • Train and mentor junior technicians and workers.
    • Ensure the team knows the latest HVAC and sheet metal techniques and technologies.
  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
    • Ensure high-quality standards in all work performed.
  1. Communication:
    • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.
    • Report on work progress and any potential issues or delays.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in HVAC and sheet metal work.
  •  5 Years of experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal projects.
  • Familiarity with Riverside, CA, building codes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
