Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and driven Lead HVAC/Chiller Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with commercial HVAC systems, particularly with centrifugal air-water magnetic chillers, large rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and maintain various commercial HVAC systems, including centrifugal air-water magnetic chillers, large RTUs, split systems, boilers, and VRF systems.

Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical issues to ensure maximum operational efficiency of HVAC systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid potential equipment failures, enhancing system performance and extending the lifespan of HVAC units.

Install, replace, and commission new HVAC units, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to all quality guidelines and regulations.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing thorough explanations of preventive measures, answering queries, and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with the technical team, sharing insights, providing guidance, and assisting in solving complex HVAC issues.

Train and supervise junior technicians to foster high standards of workmanship.

Comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with at least 2 years of experience working with centrifugal air-water magnetic chillers.

Familiarity with large RTUs, split systems, boilers, and VRF systems is required.

Current HVAC license or equivalent certification.

Proven ability to read and interpret system diagrams, schematics, and written reference materials.

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Proficient in using modern HVAC diagnostic equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying climatic conditions.

Must have a valid driver’s license.
