Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising quality.
  • Train, mentor, and manage shop staff, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Regularly assess equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are well-maintained and updated as necessary.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in or near Jacksonville, NC.
  • Demonstrable stable employment history, reflecting dedication and expertise.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial mechanical fabrication management.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, BIM, and Trimble.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical fabrication techniques, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive a team towards excellence.
