Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager for our operations in New York City. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects with a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in large commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement MEP projects, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using the right tools and methods.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.


  • Must be local to New York City with a stable work history.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP-related fields, particularly HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management of large commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Prolog) and estimating software (e.g., Trimble AutoBid, Bluebeam).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
