About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in managing MEP aspects of medium to large commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all MEP aspects of medium to large commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and sub-contractors, to achieve project objectives.
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to maintain progress and address any issues promptly.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in MEP for commercial construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated history of stable work experience in the construction or engineering industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial construction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a local resident of New York City or willing to relocate.
