MEP Project Manager

Location: New York City, NY (Local Candidates Only)

About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in managing MEP aspects of medium to large commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all MEP aspects of medium to large commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and sub-contractors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to maintain progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in MEP for commercial construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated history of stable work experience in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial construction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a local resident of New York City or willing to relocate.
