Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and intricate drawings pertinent to commercial pipe installations.
- Precisely measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to align with project specifications.
- Execute the installation and maintenance of piping systems in commercial infrastructures, ensuring strict compliance with all building codes.
- Foster collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other trade professionals, aiming for project cohesion.
- Undertake periodic inspections and perform maintenance of piping systems when necessary.
- Uphold the highest safety standards within the workspace, adhering to our company's safety guidelines.
- Mentor and coach junior pipefitters, sharing industry insights and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings, provide timely updates, and actively contribute to project strategizing and execution.
Requirements:
- Residency in or near Jacksonville, NC, is essential.
- A solid background with at least 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter in the commercial sector.
- Valid certification as a Journeyman Pipefitter.
- Track record of involvement in expansive projects.
- Steady employment history, reflecting reliability and commitment.
- Proficiency in adhering to regional, state, and national building codes.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
