Overview:
We are seeking Piping Specialists to join our team, dedicated to the fabrication and installation of mechanical piping systems for various construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety, adhering to project specifications and codes.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install mechanical piping, fittings, valves, accessories, and equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes.
- Utilize technical skills in mechanical principles to execute projects efficiently on active construction sites.
- Apply appropriate safety practices and equipment use to support project objectives and team safety.
Requirements:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training in mechanical pipefitting.
- Four or more years of experience as a journey-level pipefitter, ideally within industrial, commercial, or military construction environments.
- Experience with mechanical pipe installation and familiarity with mechanical equipment such as chillers and boilers.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, supported by necessary certifications including CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour.
Preferred:
- Welding certifications and a valid pipefitting license or journeyman card.
- Additional certifications or training in trenching and shoring, fall protection, confined space, forklift/manlift operation, power actuated tools, lockout/tagout procedures, and scissor lift/boom lift operation.
