Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Plumbing Design Engineer with a stable work history and a passion for creating optimal plumbing solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be locally based in Orange County, with significant experience in large projects such as hospitals, schools, airports, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design plumbing systems following established codes, standards, and client specifications.
  • Utilize Revit software for the design and modeling of plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including architectural, electrical, and mechanical teams, to ensure integrated and coherent design solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings, ensuring plumbing design meets client needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on all designs.
  • Assist with onsite inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of plumbing design and engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
  • Proven track record of working on large projects such as hospitals, schools, and airports.
  • Locally based in Orange County, CA.
  • Stable work history.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Familiarity with Orange County building codes and regulations.
