Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive plumbing systems for various commercial projects, ensuring sustainability, efficiency, and adherence to regulations.
- Utilize CAD and Revit tools for meticulous design and modeling tasks, transforming concepts into tangible plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to ensure coherent and integrated designs.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and technologies to implement innovative solutions tailored to each project's needs.
- Analyze, review, and optimize designs to meet client requirements and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and standards related to plumbing design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications:
- Must be based in or near San Jose, CA.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing design engineering.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) license in California is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD and Revit for design and modeling.
