Job Description: As our Commercial Plumbing-HVAC Project Manager, your main responsibility will be overseeing large-scale plumbing and HVAC projects, ensuring they're completed on time and within budget. You will be working closely with various stakeholders, coordinating the work of team members, and managing relationships with contractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee large-scale commercial plumbing and HVAC projects, ensuring they're completed on time and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing GANTT chart scheduling software and regularly update the project's progress.
- Utilize OST estimating software to estimate costs, prepare budgets, and assess profitability.
- Carry out site inspections and coordinate with construction teams and other project personnel to guarantee the project's successful completion.
- Use Bluebeam for efficient project document management, collaboration, and coordination.
- Oversee and assure the safety, quality, and productivity of construction operations.
- Solve any problems that may arise during the project's lifecycle, including technical issues, resource allocation, and personnel management.
- Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Attend project meetings and present regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
- Proven experience managing large projects, with a portfolio including $10 million+ projects.
- Proficiency in using OST Estimating and GANTT chart scheduling software.
- Experience with Bluebeam for project management.
- Strong knowledge of local and national building codes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must reside in the Wilmington, NC area or be willing to relocate.
- Stable work history.
