Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Plumbing Project Engineer to join our team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing construction, familiarity with construction software, and the ability to support project management activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of commercial plumbing projects.
  • Engineering Tasks: Perform engineering calculations, create project drawings, and contribute to design processes.
  • Construction Software: Utilize construction management software, including Bluebeam and other industry-standard tools, to support project documentation and coordination.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet project specifications.
  • Budget Management: Support budget tracking and management activities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and correspondence.
  • Problem-Solving: Assist in resolving engineering and construction-related issues as they arise.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to local building codes and regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Interact with clients to address inquiries and provide project updates.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a commercial project engineer in the plumbing construction industry.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with construction management software, with proficiency in Bluebeam and other industry-standard tools.
  • Construction Knowledge: Understanding of commercial plumbing construction processes and practices.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify and address project challenges.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Stable Work History: Demonstrated stability in employment history.
  • Local Candidates: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Orange County, CA.
