Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Plumbing Project Engineer to join our team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate should have a local presence, a stable work history, and possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management. With 2+ years of experience in commercial plumbing design, estimating, and project management, the candidate should be proficient in tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore. Previous involvement in large commercial projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with design teams to contribute to the efficient and accurate design of plumbing systems for commercial projects.
  • Estimation Support: Assist in the estimation process by providing valuable input for accurate cost assessments.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution, from initiation to completion.
  • Document Management: Utilize tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore for effective document control and project coordination.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to and ensure the implementation of quality assurance measures to meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all plumbing activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Reporting: Generate regular and comprehensive project status reports for senior management and clients.
  • MS Project Proficiency: Utilize MS Project for project scheduling, resource allocation, and efficient project management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing design, estimating, and project management.
  • Proficiency in construction management tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Previous experience with large commercial projects is highly desirable.
  • Local candidate with a stable work history.
