Plumbing Service Technician

Position Summary:
The Plumbing Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in various settings, including commercial properties and homeowner associations (HOAs). The successful candidate will be a fast-paced, hard-working professional with high integrity and a keen eye for detail, not specialized in any singular plumbing discipline.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Service Technician.
- Commercial or HOA experience is preferred.
- Demonstrable breadth of expertise in various plumbing disciplines.
- Established a reputation for high integrity, hard work, speed, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfort with a commission-based compensation structure is preferred; however, this is not a sales-oriented role.
- Must possess a complete set of personal plumbing tools.
- Must pass DMV checks, background checks, and drug tests.
- Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and install various plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments.
- Perform regular maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including properly caring for company vehicles and tools.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, reports, and documentation promptly and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and questions courteously and professionally.

- Excellent problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Capability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to respond to emergency service calls during evenings and weekends when necessary.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid plumbing certification or license in the state of California is preferred.
