We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Preconstruction Manager to lead our preconstruction team. The role demands expertise in commercial mechanical design and engineering, focusing on ensuring efficient project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead the preconstruction team, including engineers, estimators, and designers.
Develop and implement preconstruction strategies to optimize efficiency.
Manage project budgets and timelines.
Prepare competitive proposals for clients.
Ensure mechanical plans comply with codes and specifications.
Facilitate collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate preconstruction risks and challenges.
Oversee subcontractors and vendors for timely material delivery.
Deliver presentations and reports to clients and internal teams.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
EIT or PE license preferred.
5+ years in commercial plumbing and HVAC design/engineering, including 2+ years in preconstruction management.
Experience in large, complex projects, preferably hospital OSHPD-HCAI projects.
Proficiency in Revit MEP and similar software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
