Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate should have a local presence, a stable work history, and a background in construction management or mechanical engineering. With 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC, including design, estimating, and project management, the candidate should be familiar with tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore. Large commercial project experience is a definite plus.
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
- Design Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and efficient plumbing and HVAC system designs.
- Estimating: Contribute to the estimating process, providing accurate cost assessments for projects.
- Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
- Document Control: Utilize tools such as BlueBeam and Procore for document control and project management.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality assurance measures to meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all plumbing and HVAC activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Reporting: Generate regular project status reports for senior management and clients.
- MS Project: Proficiently use MS Project for project scheduling and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management.
- Familiarity with construction management tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with large commercial projects is preferred.
- Local candidate with a stable work history.
