Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to join our team at our Camp Lejeune location. The candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This includes planning, execution, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and direct commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from conception to completion.
  2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  4. Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
  5. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  6. Review the work progress daily.
  7. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget.
  8. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  9. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  10. Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spend.
  11. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
  12. Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  2. Proven working experience in construction management, specifically with commercial plumbing/HVAC systems.
  3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  4. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  5. Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
  6. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  7. Leadership and human resources management skills.
  8. Excellent time and project management skills.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to climb, kneel, bend, crawl, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  2. Capable of operating in all outdoor weather conditions.
  3. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven surfaces.
