Position Overview:
- The Plumbing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing multiple foremen and actively managing numerous projects concurrently. This role demands a thorough understanding of advanced plumbing systems, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities related to plumbing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they arrive on time and are of the required quality.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor multiple supervisors, ensuring work is executed effectively and safely.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication among team members.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standards.
Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate and apply advanced plumbing knowledge to solve complex on-site issues.
- Keep updated with the latest plumbing technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Client Relations:
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other contractors to ensure smooth project progression.
- Address any client concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit project updates to senior management.
- Ensure all project documentation, including blueprints, reports, and schedules, are current.
Qualifications:
- Residency: Must be a resident of Phoenix, AZ.
- Experience: Proven track record with a stable work history, preferably with extensive project experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and best practices.
- Leadership: Experience overseeing multiple foremen and managing numerous projects concurrently.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications: Relevant plumbing certifications/licenses would be advantageous.
