Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history, holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management. With a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and executing large-scale commercial projects. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
- Utilize expertise to contribute to accurate and efficient plumbing and HVAC system designs.
- Develop comprehensive project estimates, covering materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Organize and maintain project documentation using tools like BlueBeam and Procore.
- Monitor project budgets, providing regular updates on financial status and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project, ensuring timely project completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for efficient project delivery.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
