Job Title: Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Review and understand project specifications, blueprints, and contract documents.
- Perform job cost estimating, project scheduling, and contract negotiation.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and correct quantities.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and performance; make necessary changes as needed to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and construction teams to address any design issues or changes.
- Use project management software (MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.) for project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations as well as contractual requirements.
- Manage project closeout and obtain all necessary documentation to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects.
- Proven track record of successful project completion in hospitals, schools, hotels, high rises, military, and public works projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of Bluebeam, MS Project, and other project management software.
- Exceptional communication and team management skills.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
- Must be based in Honolulu, HI.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and dedication.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred. However, equivalent experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education.
