We seek a Senior Commercial HVAC Service/Start-Up Technician to join our elite team.

Position Summary:

As a Senior Commercial HVAC Service/Start-Up Technician, you will be a crucial member of our service team. Your role will involve the maintenance, service, and start-up of complex, large-tonnage HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, VRFs, and BAS systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform diagnostic tests, repairs, and maintenance on large-tonnage commercial HVAC systems.
  • Take charge of the start-up and commissioning of new HVAC installations, ensuring they operate as designed and comply with customer requirements.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance to junior technicians.
  • Assist in emergency service calls and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion.
  • Document service activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with large tonnage commercial HVAC systems, specifically involving chillers, boilers, VRFs, and BAS systems.
  • EPA Certification is required.
  • A clean driving record is a must.
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Trade school or Associate degree in HVAC highly preferred.
