Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field.
- A minimum of 8-15 years of relevant commercial project management experience.
- A strong background in engineering, preconstruction, and estimating is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in managing sizable hospital and federal projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam and other scheduling and estimating tools.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the entire project lifecycle, from initial conception to successful completion.
- Effectively manage all project resources, including financial budgets, timelines, and personnel.
- Foster collaborative relationships with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Serve as the principal liaison between clients, contractors, and internal departments.
- Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize advanced project management methodologies and best practices to achieve project goals.
- Accurately review, interpret, and act upon blueprints and project plans.
- Provide precise project cost and timeline estimations.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Attend on-site inspections and project meetings as required.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver comprehensive project status updates, projections, and reports to senior management.
