Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to lead our team in Jacksonville, NC. The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in managing commercial and healthcare construction projects, with a focus on plumbing and HVAC systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of industry regulations, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in construction management software.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and lead commercial and healthcare construction projects, focusing on plumbing and HVAC systems, from conception to completion.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to OSHPD/HCAI requirements and other relevant industry regulations.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor project management teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Construction Software: Utilize construction management software, including Bluebeam and other industry-standard tools, to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to guarantee project specifications are met.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in commercial and healthcare project management for a medium or large plumbing and HVAC construction company.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OSHPD/HCAI requirements and other industry regulations.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, with a focus on Bluebeam and other industry-standard tools.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate project teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
