Job Title: Senior Refrigeration Service Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, service, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, focusing on market refrigeration and ship HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and other related equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Document all service and repair activities, including maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends, products, and best practices.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair, with a focus on market refrigeration and ship HVAC/refrigeration.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including service and repair of various equipment types.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex refrigeration and HVAC issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to local job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NATE certification or other relevant industry certifications.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation systems (BAS).
